Bio
Dr. Mikat has been a Senior Principal Engineer and Technical Manager at Toyota for 15 years. His focus has been on Alternative Fuel Vehicle design and charging standardization. Smart Charging and Wireless Power Transfer have been the focus of his engineering group over the past several years. In previous assignments at Toyota, Daniel has served as Assistant Chief Engineer, focusing on electronics development and integration into the vehicle. He is also functioning as the business strategic liaison to Toyota Motor Sales and the Toyota parent company in Japan, TMC. Prior to his tenure at Toyota, he was a staff engineer at Panasonic and at Fujitsu Ten.
